Cumann Na mBunscol Gaelic Games

Football:

U11 boys

October thankfully saw the return of Gaelic Football to our school. The under 11 team consisted of boys from 5th and 6th class this year. It was great to see a large number of boys committing to training and matches this year. The team were unfortunate not to go further in the competition after a brilliant start to their games, the boys narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals. Our attention now turns to the senior boys' team who will begin competing in the New Year. Both Mr. Barry & Mr. Merrins would like to thank all under 11 players for their commitment this year.

U11 girls

Ms Hilliard, Mr Thynne and Mr Harrington would like to say a big well done to all of the girls who participated in the under 11 Gaelic football league. A large number of girls from 4th-6th class attended training on a weekly basis and did an excellent job representing St. Conleth and Mary's in home and away matches against other local schools. Training and matches will resume for the girls football in the spring.
